SUSAN WARREN offers two curriculums. Her "Level 1 Class" covers the history and theory of Reflexology, the body systems with the related reflex points, foot assessment, foot pathology, Reflexology techniques, how to give a complete Reflexology treatment, ethics, and business practices. This class is designed for those who want to learn how to give a therapeutic Reflexology treatment and do not wish to be certified, and also for those who DO wish to go for certification.
The "Level 2 Class" focuses on anatomy and physiology correlated to Reflexology, specifically of the lower leg and foot. Business practices, standards, and ethics are discussed as well as how to set up a practice. Advanced techniques for assessing the foot, conditions of the foot, and working the reflexes will be taught and practiced. Review and preparation for the written and practicum American Reflexology Certification Board (ARCB) test will conclude the course study.
30 hours in required for completion of "Level 1" and an additional 30 hours is needed for "Level 2" (total of 60 hours). There will be 30 hours of study/reading for each class (60 hours) plus 80 documented treatments required (80 hours) for those wanting CERTIFICATION. The Level 1 and Level 2 plus the 80 documented treatments total 200 hours. |
