Susan Warren, Nationally Certified by the American Reflexology Certification Board (ARCB), studied Reflexology with Martha Madsen in Arizona, with the International Institute of Reflexology from Florida, with Father Joseph from Taiwan, with Sandi Rogers from Australia, and with Mr. Sanjeev and Mr. Binod in India. Susan is author of "Asiam Intuit" and a founding member of the "Indo-American Reflexology Association". Formerly president of the Arizona Reflexology Association (AZRA), Susan also served as the Vice-President of the Association and gone on to develop her own system which she calls "Asiam Intuit", as she uses and teaches others to develop their intuitive skills. She began teaching Reflexology in 1986 and offers classes throughout the year.
Students enjoy a unique learning experience in a clear, focused and entertaining way. Susan enjoys teaching; her students enjoy learning from her. Her classes are fun, hands-on, and full of useful information. Her book, "Asiam Intuit" Reflexology is the class manual used along with anatomy books.
Her "Asiam Intuit" method differs from other methods in that she teaches over 60 specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques for working on the feet. It differs also in that the feet are worked on by systems of the body and the corresponding reflexes. The Nervous, Muscular, and Skeletal Systems are worked first followed by the Endocrine, Circulatory, Lymphatic, Respiratory, Digestive, Urinary, and ends with the Reproductive System. A complete system by system method of how to give a treatment using Reflexology is given. Along with that she also teaches a method of tuning in to one's own intuition in order to bring about changes in the energy field and healing of the body, mind, and spirit. The charkas of the body, how they relate to Reflexology, and how they can be stimulated on the feet is also discussed. Her book contains the wisdom she has gained since 1978 from her daily meditation and yoga practice, her private practice as a counselor specializing in treatment of trauma, and her own Reflexology clientele's experiences.
Susan teaches zone therapy, history of Reflexology, theory, the body system, with the related reflex points, foot assessment techniques, foot pathology, ethics, business practices, how to start a practice, and the "Asiam Intuit Reflexology" techniques. The focus is on how to perform a complete foot Reflexology session in an intuitive, therapeutic and competent manner. Susan has studied in India. This has contributed to the excitement and knowledge she shares with others in the Reflexology community. |
